- Before scanning in a CaseID, you must still receive inventory the same way you have always done it, by accepting the order in both Metrc and Treez.
- Once you have received the inventory from Metrc into Treez, you will navigate to the package within the inventory management section of Treez.
- Alternatively you can go to Purchasing and navigate to the order so all products for the order are listed in one screen so there's no need to look for each individual product one by one in Inventory Management

- Within the package panel, under the “Package tab” scroll down to to the “Barcode” section and click “Inventory Barcode”
- Under the barcode section select “Inventory Barcode” and there you will find the CaseID icon
- Click the CaseID icon and the CaseID Import Screen will appear with another CaseID icon stating “To import LucidIDs, scan a CaseID with your USB scanner” You can also click the manually import” option to type in the caseID short code.
- Scan or manually import the CaseID you would like to associate with the selected product.
Please note: the last 8 digits of the CaseID UID are physically displayed on the
actual CaseID for reference - Once the CaseID is scanned, the Product Import Validation Screen will appear.
- If the information is correct then you can click “Import CaseID”
If the info is incorrect you can click “Don’t import CaseID” - Once imported the Packaged Product Details Screen will appear. At the top, a green bar will state “CaseID was scanned successfully”, along with other product information. Please note that the digital COA is accessible by scrolling down.
This screen can be closed by clicking the “X” or close icon on the top right. This screen will always be accessible by clicking the CaseID button.
