When a product carries a LucidID and the brand includes BudPoints in its consumer‑reward program, the following requirements must be met to claim the reward:
- Use the LucidID app (available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store) to scan the LucidID.
- Enable location services on your device while scanning.

Scan outside of a retail dispensary. Although you may scan the code inside a dispensary, BudPoints cannot be claimed until you are outside the premises and scan the LucidID again.
- Note: The minimum distance required to successfully claim points is 250 meters (≈ 0.16 miles). Because GPS signals can “rubber‑band,” a greater distance may be necessary.
- After a successful scan, a prompt will appear on the screen. Tap “Claim Now” to receive the BudPoints.
- BudPoints are tied to a single LucidID app account per product. If you have already claimed the points, or another user has done so, the points cannot be claimed again. The app will display a notification indicating whether the BudPoints for that product have already been redeemed.
If you have already followed the above steps and still cannot claim your BudPoints, please submit a Support Ticket and include clear, in-focus images of each LucidID in question.
