Please try the following steps:
-
Update the app and grant permissions
• Ensure you are running the latest version of the LucidID mobile app.
• Verify that camera access is enabled in your device’s settings. -
If only the front‑facing camera works
• Close the LucidID app completely.
• Open your phone’s Settings → Apps → LucidID.
• Toggle the Camera permission off, then back on.
• Reopen the app and respond to any permission prompts that appear. -
Scanning via the native camera
• With the LucidID app installed, you can use your phone’s default camera app to scan the LucidID QR code; the link will automatically open in LucidID.
• Use the zoom function to enlarge the code on the screen, which often improves recognition. -
Lighting conditions
• Make sure there are no strong overhead lights, reflections, or shadows on the LucidID while scanning. -
If scanning still fails
• Should the QR codes be damaged or remain unreadable, please reply to this ticket with clear, in‑focus photos of each affected LucidID. Our support team will manually credit the corresponding points to your account.
Scan Outside of Dispensary Range
To prevent unauthorized redemption of BudPoints, you must be located at least 250 meters (≈ 821 feet) away from any dispensary before scanning LucidIDs in the LucidID app. Because GPS signals can sometimes “rubber‑band,” a greater distance may be necessary—please wait until you are safely at home before attempting to scan.
If you reside within this proximity to a dispensary and are unable to scan your Lucid IDs, submit a support ticket with clear, in‑focus photos of each affected LucidID. Our support team will verify the issue and manually credit the appropriate point values to your account.
