Welcome to an easier, faster way to audit your inventory
- Say goodbye to hand counts with printed reports and clipboards.
- Using the LucidRetail mobile app, you will be able to scan products allowing for more accuracy by reducing human error.
- Automated reporting also allows you to easily reconcile your inventory data.
- With LucidIDs, you will be able to conduct audits during business hours and have updated sales information auto populate within the report.
What is Inventory Auditing?
Lucid Green cycle count functionality can be broken down into Three Stages:
- Auditing Inventory through Lucid Green effectively separates out the information capture, from the data processing and report generation.
- This is created with the idea that the report generation within Lucid Green can be compared to the report generated in the POS system for the purpose of reconciliation/ adjustment.
- Please note that our inventory audit system does not work with Metrc or POS systems. It is created simply to capture data (made easier by scanning capability) and generate reports.
Intro to Capture
Select Inventory Audit in the LucidRetail Mobile App
Resuming after a break
If you need to take a break from counting or pause, the app will save your place.
When you return to the app, Inventory Audit will show as “in progress” and give you the option to restart.
You can click “Resume Inventory Audit Session” to continue or “Start New Session” to begin a new session*.
*If you start a new session, you will end and delete the previous session.
Important Considerations
- LucidRetail Inventory Auditing is setup to help you continuously scan.
- You can can lay out the products in front of you with the LucidID clearly displayed, you can easily capture multiple LucidIDs at one time/ or choose to scan one at a time.
- Please note that you should only capture lucidID's that have been imported into inventory using a caseID. LucidIDs captured that were not correctly ingested will throw off your data when it comes time to generate a report.

Scanning CaseIDs
Important Considerations
- CaseIDs should only be scanned if the products are intact and complete.
- If any LucidIDs have been removed from the case and moved onto the floor, if you scan the CaseID, you will need to address the discrepancy at the end of the process via alerts. [See how to reconcile alerts in the “Resolving Discrepancies” section].
