These instructions will go over the benefits and use cases of the Quick Scan feature in the LucidRetail Mobile app on Android and iOS.
Accessing the Quick Scan Feature
You will find the Quick Scan feature available on the homepage of the LucidRetail Mobile app:
Additionally you can navigate to Quick Scan by clicking the hamburger menu in the upper left corner of the app:
Scanning a LucidID or CaseID with Quick Scan
You can scan a LucidID or CaseID using the camera on your phone or tablet:

Note: If you see the above screen when selecting Quick Scan, you have the "Use Imager" setting turned on in the LucidRetail Mobile app. Follow the steps in the above article to also turn this setting off to be able to use your device camera.
By scanning a CaseID the user will see
- The full CaseID UID
- How many LucidIDs are associated with the CaseID
- List of LucidIDs associated with the CaseID
- The Brand
- The Product
- SKU
- Batch
- Batch Regulator UID
- Package Regulator UID
By scanning a LucidID the user will see
- LucidID
- Brand
- Product
- SKU
- Batch
- Batch Regulator UID
- Created on
- Paired on
- Packaged on
- Regulator UIDs (newest first)

Associated CaseID
Note: This is a helpful tool in case the CaseID has been thrown away or destroyed. The CaseID associated will be displayed so that users can manually enter the CaseID short code into an inventory record.
Clicking on the CaseID will open the CaseID page:
