In New Jersey, many dispensaries receive all inventory under their medical license, and then need to transfer some inventory to their recreational license. This process is usually handled by receiving inventory through Metrc and then within the Medical Dutchie installation (Dutchie MED), transferring inventory in the Medical Dutchie installation to the recreational license, and then receiving the transferred inventory in the Recreational Dutchie installation (Dutchie REC).
When receiving inventory using CaseIDs, the process is largely similar, however it requires a specific step when scanning CaseIDs into LucidRetail.
Note: while Received Inventory Scanning and Virtual Manifests functionality in LucidRetail Mobile can be used, we recommend avoiding using this method since LucidRetail LITE cannot yet easily recognize the inventory transfer screens in Dutchie until a more complete solution is made available.
Receiving CaseIDs using LucidRetail
- Receive cases of inventory in Metrc and Dutchie MED
- Transfer inventory as needed using Dutchie MED
- Using LucidRetail LITE, scan CaseIDs into Dutchie MED inventory for cases REMAINING under Medical License (see https://help.lucidgreen.io/hc/en-us/articles/20783145972635-Scanning-CaseIDs-Dutchie)
- Receive transferred cases of inventory in Metrc and Dutchie REC
Using LucidRetail LITE, scan CaseIDs for transferred cases into Dutchie REC
Moving a CaseID to another license after its been received using LucidRetail
If there is a need to transfer cases of inventory already received into Dutchie MED using LucidRetail LITE to Dutchie REC (or vice-versa), you can remove CaseIDs from the Dutchie MED inventory using LucidRetail LITE and scan them into Dutchie REC.
On Dutchie MED Inventory screen, click CaseID button and then remove CaseIDs being transferred.
Switch to Dutchie REC, find and open the receiving inventory screen, click CaseID button and then scan transferred CaseIDs.
Removing a CaseID from retail inventory when its been imported using a Virtual Manifest
Removing a CaseID from inventory using the above steps will not remove the CaseID from being received (and being locked to that retailer) if the CaseID was scanned into a Virtual Manifest.
In this situation, the CaseID must also be removed from the Virtual Manifest.
Select the Virtual Manifest that contains the scanned CaseID in LucidRetail Web Console.
On the Virtual Manifest CaseID tab, click the Remove button for the CaseID that is being transferred.
- Once all CaseIDs being transferred are removed from the Virtual Manifest, they should be able to be transferred to another license and can be scanned into inventory in Dutchie using LucidRetail LITE.
