Manual Entry vs Scanning In
There are two ways to import a CaseID into an inventory record:

Scanning: Using a 2D scanner, inventory staff can scan the CaseID directly into the CaseID Import Screen.

Manual: Using the case sensitive CaseID short code displayed on the right side of the CaseID, you can manually enter the CaseID without having to scan. This can be especially helpful in the event that a CaseID is damaged and/or becomes not scannable.
Received Inventory Scanning
With our Received Inventory Scanning feature, you can now use the LucidRetail mobile app to scan CaseIDs using your phone or tablet all at once to build a virtual manifest to make ingesting CaseIDs easier. You can find step-by-step instructions here: Received Inventory Scanning Articles
