Manual Entry vs Scanning In
Outside of Received Inventory Scanning, there are two ways to import a CaseID into an inventory record:

Scanning: Using a 2D scanner, inventory staff can scan the CaseID directly into the CaseID Import Screen.

Manual: Using the case sensitive CaseID short code displayed on the right side of the CaseID, you can manually enter the CaseID without having to scan. This can be especially helpful in the event that a CaseID is damaged and/or becomes not scannable.
