Problem
The retail teams run into an error message in Dutchie that the CaseID has been imported into inventory, but it's under a package tag that is incorrect.
When this issue comes up, it indicates that the incorrect Package Tag was associated with the CaseID during the casing process, or no Package Tag was associated and it is using the Batch Tag in place of the Package Tag.
This can also be validated with Quick Scan and viewing the associated Regulator UIDs for the CaseID, the Regulator UID listed in red is the most recent regulator UID associated and should match the Package Tag on the outside of the Case or the Inventory Record in Dutchie.

To correct the issue, we need to associate the correct Package Tag with the CaseID, then update the CaseID record in the Virtual Manifest, these steps can be completed from Lucid Source Mobile or Lucid Source Web.
There is no need to remove any currently associated Regulator UIDs from the CaseIDs, only associate the correct Regulator (Package) UID.
Lucid Retail Mobile Steps
Associate Regulator UID
- First we will associate the correct Package Tag using the tool in Lucid Retail Mobile to associate the Regulator UID with the CaseID.

Click the “Associate Regulator UID with CaseID” button on the LucidRetail Mobile app

A screen will launch with instructions, and also a “Start” button at the bottom of the screen

Once the “Start” button is clicked, the user will be brought to the “Scan Regulator UID” page, where they can scan the Regulator UID they’d like to associate with the CaseID

Once the Regulator UID is scanned, the user can then scan the CaseID
- Click the 'Associate Regulator UID to Product' Button

A confirmation modal will appear, asking the user to confirm the association, or to cancel the session
- If confirmed, the Regulator UID will be associated to the LucidIDs associated with the CaseID
- From the confirmation screen, users can then either associate another Regulator UID, or click “Home” to return to the homepage.

Lucid Retail Mobile - Virtual Manifest
- Next we will correct the CaseID in the Virtual Manifest.
- From the home screen of Lucid Retail Mobile, click the 3 bars in the upper left corner.
- Select 'Virtual Manifests' from the drop down list.
- Find the Virtual Manifest in the list and select it.
- Find the CaseID/Product with the incorrect Package UID associated with it and select the 'Unassign Package' button. (Do Not select the Reject Package button)
- A confirmation dialog will come up, click 'Confirm'
- After confirming removal of the Package UID from the CaseID/Product, the CaseID/Product will be moved to the top of the list in the Virtual Manifest and we can assign the correct Package UID to it, find the CaseID/Product at the top of the list and select the 'Assign Package UID' button.
- The system will allow you to type the value in manually, or scan a barcode containing the correct Package Tag, typically the team can send a picture of the correct blue/yellow Package Tag for quick assignment.
- After updating the Package Tag, the system will automatically re-sync the Virtual Manifest with Dutchie and link to the existing product and inventory record, this process can take up to 30 minutes to finish.
Lucid Retail Web Steps
Correcting the issue in Lucid Retail Web uses the same corrective steps, they are just found in different locations, for the Support Team, It's recommended to use Lucid Retail Web to correct the Virtual Manifest as you can search for and sort data easier with the web platform.
As before, we will need to associate the Regulator UID first, This is easiest to do with Lucid Retail Mobile following the steps from above Associate Regulator UID
This can also be performed in Lucid Source Web using an administrator account. This is typically a manufacturing function, so the process is tied to the devices retailers are most likely to be using and is not currently available in Lucid Retail Web.
Lucid Retail Web - Virtual Manifest
After associating the Regulator UID with the CaseID, follow these steps to update the Virtual Manifest in Lucid Retail Web.
- Open Lucid Retail Web - retail.lucidgreen.io
- If necessary, sign in with your Retail Administrator account.
- Go to 'Virtual Manifests' on the left hand side under 'Received Inventory Scanning'
- Search for the Virtual Manifest, either by using the search bar, or by filtering the dispensaries shown in the drop down menu and selecting it from the list.
- In the Virtual Manifest, search for the currently associated or incorrect Package UID, using Ctrl+F / CMD+F to search the entire page, typically you only need the last 6 digits of the incorrect Package Tag to find it, but it's recommended to search for the entire value to confirm the correct CaseID is selected.
- After locating the Product and CaseID with the incorrect Package UID, select the 'Un-Assign Package UID' Button (Note, there is no confirmation on removing the Package UID, if the incorrect CaseID was selected and a Package UID was inadvertently removed, simply find the CaseID at the top of the Virtual Manifest list and re-assign the Package UID to the CaseID.)
- The CaseID will be moved to the top of the list in the Virtual Manifest and will show no Package Tag association, select the Add Package UID button, type in the correct Package UID and click the Confirm button.
- After updating the Package Tag, the system will automatically re-sync the Virtual Manifest with Dutchie and link to the existing product and inventory record, this process can take up to 30 minutes to finish.
