The following instructions will properly configure a Sumicor 1D and 2D Barcode Scanner (2.4G+Bluetooth+ USB). These instructions have been tested on the following models:
- B08R3QM53M
These are the supported connection types:
USB Wired Connection
Please ensure you follow all instructions below in order. Restart at the beginning to reset your scanner. Important: Test the scanner at the end using the final step of the instructions to ensure your scanner is configured correctly.

Make sure your scanner is properly connected (via USB cable) to your computer.

Scan the following reset barcode:

You should hear a beep from your scanner, then it should reboot and beep its startup tones.

Test to make sure your scanner is working properly by following the instructions in Testing Your USB or Bluetooth Connected Barcode/QR Code Scanner for Proper Configuration
2.4G Wireless Connection
Please ensure you follow all instructions below in order. Restart at the beginning to reset your scanner. Important: Test the scanner at the end using the final step of the instructions to ensure your scanner is configured correctly.

Scan the following reset barcode:
- Scan the following Wireless 2.4G Mode barcode:
- Scan the following Forced Pairing barcode:
The blue LED on the scanner will flicker
- Within 1 minute, plug the mini USB receiver (located on the back of the charging base) into a USB port on your computer and then you will hear a beep, and the blue light on the scanner will always be solid on, indicating that the connection and pairing is successful
Note: If there is triple quick "di-di-di" beep, that means pairing was unsuccessful. Unplug the mini USB receiver and perform steps 3 and 4 again

Bluetooth Connection
Please ensure you follow all instructions below in order. Restart at the beginning to reset your scanner. Important: Test the scanner at the end using the final step of the instructions to ensure your scanner is configured correctly.

Scan the following reset barcode:
- Scan the following Bluetooth HID Mode barcode:
- Scan the following Forced Pairing barcode:
The blue LED on the scanner will flicker
- Open the Bluetooth settings on the device you want to pair to and search for the "Barcode Scanner HID"
- Click on "Barcode Scanner HID" and let the Bluetooth device enter the match status. Blue LED light on the scanner will always be solid on when paired with the device.
Note: If there is triple quick "di-di-di" beep, that means pairing was unsuccessful. Delete the paired device in the Bluetooth settings and perform steps 3-5 again
- Test to make sure your scanner is working properly by following the instructions in Testing Your USB or Bluetooth Connected Barcode/QR Code Scanner for Proper Configuration
Note: If the connection between the scanner and the paired device times out, you might have to go into the Bluetooth settings on the paired device and click "Barcode Scanner HID" from the list of paired devices and click "Connect"

Follow the instructions below to fully reset your Sumicor scanner to factory defaults:

Troubleshooting
- After resetting the scanner, if it opens different windows when scanning a QR code or tabs to different fields, you may need to uninstall and re-install Google Chrome.
- If you find that scanning a QR code or LucidID is not recognized by the POS system, you may need to unplug and re-plug in the USB scanner.
