Using Zebra 123Scan to Set Up a Saved Configuration to use with Multiple Zebra Scanners

To save a standard configuration for your Zebra scanners, you can use the Zebra 123Scan App to save a configuration file that can be used to configure multiple scanners.

1. Open the 123Scan app and click the Create New Configuration File button.

   

2. On the Name and Roles step, enter a descriptive name for the configuration.

   

3. On the Cable Connection step, make sure the USB Device Type is set to "HID Keyboard Emulation" and under the "HID Keyboard Options" section, make sure that the "Caps Lock Override" option is selected.

   

4. On the Symbologies step, select "Other 2D Symbologies" in the menu and make sure the QR Code option is selected.

   

5. On the Modify Data step, make sure "Append an enter key" option is selected.

   

6. Click the Save to PC button to save the configuration to be able to load it in the future to configure additional scanners. Click the Load to Scanner button to program a connected scanner.

   

7. The scanner programming window should appear and complete successfully.
